One of Michigan's most spectacular state parks, with nearly 2,000 acres of ancient dunes, three miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, and six miles of hiking trails ranging from easy beach walks to steep dune climbs.

Steep but deeply rewarding climb up Mt. Randall, one of the tallest dunes in the park at over 240 feet above Lake Michigan. The summit delivers sweeping panoramic views of the lake and surrounding forest that justify every step of the ascent. Best experienced in spring and fall when the light is golden and the crowds are thin.
